Terms & Conditions
1. Orders Orders are accepted subject to the following conditions
2. Prices Goods will be invoiced at price ruling on the day of despatch
3. VAT All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT which will be charged at the current rate and shown as an extra on all invoices
4. Delivery Whilst every effort is made to ensure orders are despatched for a next day delivery we advise that this is not a guaranteed delivery and we shall not be responsible for delays or failure in deliveries due to or contributed to by and cause whatsoever
5. Settlement terms Invoices are due and payable at the end of the month following the date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest at 2% per month on accounts that are not paid to our terms.
6. Title of goods Ownership of goods shall remain with the company until payment for goods has been received in full. If any goods are resold before payment is made, the companys right of ownership shall be transferred to the proceeds of sale or to the claim for such proceeds.
7. Carriage Orders to the nett value of £200.00 will be carriage paid to the UK mainland. Carriage on orders under £200.00 will be charged at rate applicable at date of despatch. Goods sent to addresses other than that of the buyer (site address) shall be subject to a carriage charge regardless of order value. If nobody is available to take delivery there will be a further charge for each subsequent attempt to deliver. For all other areas including Northern Ireland, Eire and the Channel Islands orders to the nett value of £800.00 will be carriage paid.
8. Risk in Goods The risk in goods shall pass to the buyer when delivery is made to the buyers premises or destination specified by the buyer. Shortages and damages must be advised within 3 working days of receipt of goods.
9. Returns Returns will be accepted and credited with the following conditions. (A) Goods are not returned without prior agreement. (B) Goods returned which are surplus to requirements or ordered in error will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. There will also be a carriage charge if we have to collect these goods. (C) Goods returned after 3 months will be credited at our discretion. (D) All good must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. (E) Goods can only be collected for the account holders address, collections from site will have to be arranged by the customer
10. Defective goods Goods represented by the buyer to be defective shall not form the subject of any claim for any work done by the buyer, or for any such loss, damage or expense whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from such defects, such goods if returned to the seller and accepted by them as defective will be replaced.
11. Special Orders Special orders cannot be cancelled and will be accepted upon receipt of a written order. Specials will be despatched immediately on receipt into Ironmongery Solutions and normal carriage charges will apply. If customers require goods on a call off basis we may ask for a deposit before goods are ordered.
12. Samples Samples for approval will be invoiced at the normal list price and credited in full if returned within 28 days in a condition fit for re sale.
13. Cancellations Cancellations will only be accepted by us on condition that any costs and expenses incurred by us up to the time of cancellation and all loss or damage by reason of such cancellation will be reimbursed by the purchaser to us forthwith. Acceptance of such cancellation will be considered binding only if received by us in writing.
14. Conditions of sales Conditions of sale are as stated unless specified terms are negotiated and supported by written confirmation.
The company reserves the right to make any necessary amendments. |
